Congrats to Maddie

Maddie passed her test for orange/white belt Tuesday night in kids
class. Great job kiddo!

With so much to look forward to, I need to thank all the members of
the dojo who help us continue training. Each one of you should be
very pleased with your hard work and training. Let's see what 2010

Tammy's yonkyu exam

Mark C's Nikyu Exam - 07/10/09

I am very proud to announce the promotion of Mark C to rank of nikyu,
first brown, where he received his first hakama. He put on an
excellent display of talent, the class is very lucky to have a leader
like Mark. Great job man!

Mike's Sankyu test - 02/27/09

boo-boos that involved a swollen knee and cut thumb. Way to persevere

Friday the 13th was definitely a rough one for Mark, who did well on
his exam, despite being pushed hard. We congratulate him on passing

MAAF Hombu Dojo Grand Opening

We had an EXCELLENT trip to visit the new MAAF aikido headquarters in Dallas, TX. The dojo is beautiful and when you walk in, you immediately feel the spirit of hard work and love that both went into building the dojo, and for the training inside the dojo. Great time, and a wonderful group of people, we are very lucky to have these things.

We have excellent instructors who care about ensuring our students have fun as well as learn how to be safe and effective. We have many years of experience in aikido as well as instruction; we are patient, and never give up.
